<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system which has a wide low-pitched sound range including a sub woofer for heavy bass sound reproduction, provides a high feeling of sound image localization and high presence in a real manner and is suitable to be combined with a thin display device. <P>SOLUTION: This speaker system includes a virtual ground to be a fixed point in a case in order to be approximately ideal state to vibrations of a speaker main body part and is provided with left and right speakers (S<SB>1</SB>and S<SB>2</SB>) and the sub woofer (S<SB>3</SB>) with a structure in which the speaker main body is fixed to the case through a buffering body. In addition, the speaker system is provided with a phase matching means (P and A) for matching phases of sound signals outputted from the left and right speakers (S<SB>1</SB>and S<SB>2</SB>) and the sub woofer (S<SB>3</SB>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
