PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data processor, an image data processing method, an image data processing program, and a print controller for realizing carrying out of half-tone processing at high speed. SOLUTION: The image data processing method is characterized in that dither matrix data prescribing a threshold value for determining the presence / absence of dot formation as to a plurality of pixels is stored, a minimum value and / or a maximum value of the threshold value in a block consisting of n×m pixels (n and m are natural numbers) is compared with a gradation value of each pixel of in the block when comparing the threshold value prescribed in the dither matrix data with the gradation value of each pixel of image data for each block consisting of the n×m pixels, and half-tone image data for designating no dot formation as to all pixels in the block whose gradation value is smaller than the minimum value of the threshold value and designating dot formation as to pixels whose gradation value is greater than the maximum value of the threshold value is generated.
