PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the confirmation of conditions of ignition and combustion at a glance from a long distance and the view of the condition of combustion like natural flames. SOLUTION: This hot air heating device comprises a light emitter 10 provided in a wide area on the front face of a combustion chamber, a light semi-transmissive member 12 mounted on the front face of the light emitter 10 at a space therefrom, a second convection fan 14 provided at the lower part of the space, and a ribbon reflecting member 16 to be easily swayed by the flow of air blown from an air outlet 17. The sway of the ribbon reflecting member 16 during the emission of a light from the light emitter 10 causes the random diffusion of the swayed light to the light semi-transmissive member 12 to be viewed like flames.
