PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool excellent in productivity and substantially reducing processing cost, and also to provide a method for cutting a circular member using the tool. SOLUTION: The cutting tool 100 for cutting the circular member 300 out of a plate 200 has a rotational axis C concentrically with the circular member 300. The tool is provided with a blade 113 comprising a first cutting edge part 113a for cutting the plate 200 and a second cutting edge part 113b formed sequentially to the first cutting edge part 113a and inclined to the outside in the radial direction from the rotational axis C.
