PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new DNA-decomposing enzyme comprising a new nuclease and/or a new phosphatase which are originated from a microorganism, to provide a method for producing the new DNA-decomposing enzyme, and to provide a method for producing a deoxynucleocide with the new DNA-decomposing enzyme.

SOLUTION: This DNA-decomposing enzyme comprising the nuclease and/or the phosphatase which are produced with a microorganism belonging to Penicillium geastrivorus, its variant or mutant. The method for producing the same. The method for producing the deoxynucleocide or deoxynucleotide from DNA is characterized by reacting the DNA with the new DNA-decomposing enzyme.
