PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that can easily confirm the focused position in an image when reproducing and displaying the image. SOLUTION: A display apparatus 20 of a digital camera can display an image stored in a memory card. When reproducing and displaying the image, the display apparatus 20 displays a target frame Tf movable to an optional position (states ST11, ST12). When a user performs a prescribed operation in this state, an area corresponding to the target frame Tf is displayed with magnification, a sub block most closely focused in this area is specified and a frame f2 denoting the sub block is displayed (state ST15).
