<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular automatic switching control system for dispensing with the replacement by the existence of installation of a particulate filter. <P>SOLUTION: This control system 15 forms an engine control computer (ECU : Electronic Control Unit) of a vehicle, and is equipped with both general engine control and operation control on a catalyst regenerative particulate filter 12, and has a control logic switching means for executing only the general engine control by simultaneously using the general engine control and the operation control on the particulate filter 12 when confirming the connection of various sensors (a temperature sensor 14) required for the operation control of the particulate filter 12 by an electric signal, and resting the operation control on the particulate filter 12 when being unable to confirm the connection of the various sensors by the electric signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
