The coffee pot contains a removable sugar dispenser (4). Dispensing is activated by a push button (5.1). This is operated by an external lever (8) connected by a wire to a spring (7) which presses on the top of the dispenser. The dispenser is held in position by a diagonally mounted spring (4.1) on one side and a spacer (9) on the other.
