PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein many sheet bodies cannot be set together and they must be divided into several sheet bodies to set them when a necessity for setting many sheet bodies in a sheet storage means rarely occurs in a device fixed to a stand-by position by matching height of the stand-by position of the sheet storage means with the number of documents having high use frequency. SOLUTION: An elevating means is provided with an operation means for lowering the sheet storage means further while the sheet storage means is positioned at the stand-by position.
