The present invention is related to a lollipop wrapper material suitable for high speed packaging machines, comprising a flexible multlayer substrate wherein said wrapper material further comprises at least one functional coating layer on the outside and the inside of said flexibble substrate, said outside functional coating layer having combined properties of high heat resistance and/or controlled seal strength, and said inside funtional coating layer having combined properties of controlled seal strength and low seal initiation temperature in order to improve the machine speed and easy opening or the wrapper.
