PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve cost reduction of a controller by a method wherein configuration a current detection circuit is simplified. SOLUTION: A control circuit 2 has a plurality of notch-tap lead lines 4 and 5 and one common lead line 6. A power supply 7 is applied between the common lead line 6 and the arbitrary notch-tap lead line 4 or 5 for adjusting the speed of a motor 1. An LED 17 of a phototransistor coupler 14 is connected between arbitrary two lines among the plurality of notch-tap lead lines 4 and 5, or between arbitrary one line among the plurality of notch-tap lead lines 4 and 5 and the common lead line 6 to compose a current detection circuit 3. At a command of stopping of the motor 1, if a current is not detected by the current detection circuit 3, the control circuit 2 carries out a normal control, and if a current is not detected by the current detection circuit, thereafter through the control circuit 2 the operation of the motor 1 is made to be discontinued. |
