PURPOSE: A method for combining a 3D avatar with an item in a portable phone is provided to download various items after installing a 3D-type avatar, and to freely combine the 3D avatar with the various items by changing the items, then to freely operate the 3D avatar, thereby expressing the avatar in various types. CONSTITUTION: An initial user downloads a 3D avatar or items from a provider server, and stores the downloaded 3D avatar or the item in a memory of a portable phone. The user selects an item to be changed, and loads the selected item with an avatar viewer in the memory where the items are stored. The avatar viewer identifies 3D avatar body part information stored in the loaded item, and combines the identified body part information with a corresponding part of the 3D avatar. The 3D avatar whose item is changed is displayed on a portable phone screen. |
