FIELD: power machinery construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves providing sequential strengthening of article surface by nitrogen ion implantation; performing stabilizing annealing process; after ion implantation process, providing ionic-plasma deposition of titanium nitride coat at discharge current of 90-110 A, discharge voltage of 50-60 V and nitrogen pressure of from 310-1 to 410-1 Pa. Ionic implantation, deposition of coating and stabilizing annealing processes are performed in single vacuumizer. ^ EFFECT: increased strengthening of steam turbine vane surface and, accordingly, increased resistance of vane to moisture-vapor erosion, corrosion, and improved fatigue and adhesion strength. ^ 2 cl, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
