PURPOSE: A device for removing chips of a hard disk drive is provided to clearly eliminate chips generated while coupling screws for coupling parts from a hard disk drive, thereby preventing a hard disk or a magnetic head from being damaged owing to the chips. CONSTITUTION: Vacuum absorption pads(30) comprise an inner space(33) and the first opening end(31) and the second opening end(32) for connecting the inner space(33) with the outside. When the vacuum absorption pads(30) rise, the first opening end(31) is adhered around screw holes(121) where screws(122) for coupling a spindle motor(12) are coupled together. A vacuum source(40) forms a vacuum pressure during an operation. A tube unit(50) comprises as follows. A filter(52) is installed on an air flowing path(51) between the vacuum source(40) and the second opening end(32) of the vacuum absorption pads(30), and filters foreign substance. A valve(53) selectively cuts off the air flowing path(51).
