PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cleaning body capable of securing a high reliability even if used for a long period. SOLUTION: The rotary cleaning body has a cylindrical brush base in which a plurality of engagement recesses are axially provided at intervals in the peripheral direction on the outside periphery, a brush, the base end side of which is engaged with an engagement recess and mounted axially and radially to the outside periphery of the brush base and a blade, a shaft passed into the center of the brush base and a receptacle 53 mounted to the shaft. In the receptacle 53, engagement claw portions 55 are formed in a facing side 53B facing the end face of the brush base. The engagement claw portions 55 fit into the engagement recesses of the brush base and fix the brush base to the shaft and restrains the brush and the blade from coming off the axial ends of the engagement recesses. In such a rotary cleaning body, concave curved surfaces 55A are formed in the base portion of the engagement claw portions 55 of the receptacle 53 and protrusions 53B abutting against the end of the brush base are formed on the facing side 53B.
