PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for a transport device capable of comparatively easily transporting an object to be transported even in a narrow passage in a building, and the transport device. SOLUTION: This carrier 10 for the transport device is provided with a portal leg part 11 constituted by connecting a pair of column legs 14 provided with wheels 12 at a lower end by a beam member 16, an elevating post 20 mounted in the portal leg part 11 so as to slide in the vertical direction, a screw jack 50 provided between the portal leg part 11 and the elevating post 20 to elevate and lower the elevating post 20, a load receive part provided at a lower end of the elevating post 20 to receive load of the object to be transported through a support member 30, and a fixing fitting 26 provided at an upper end of the elevating post 20 to restrain the object to be transported.
