<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste storage equipment where waste such as industrial waste is safely stored in a coastal site over a long period. <P>SOLUTION: A storage unit 39 is formed of a storage body 3, a deck 11, a cover body 12 and a revetment part 10. The storage body 3 has a double shell structure composed of: an inner shell 9 consisting of an inner wall and a bottom wall and storing waste, and an outer shell 6 consisting of an outer wall and a bottom wall, the inner shell 9 being provided inside the outer shell 6 so as to provide prescribed spaces 13 and 14. The deck 11 covers the opening part on the upper end of the treatment space 13 formed between the inner shell 9 and the outer shell 6. The cover body 12 covers the opening part on the upper end of the inner shell 9, and the revetment part 10 is provided at least on one side face of the outer shell 6.
