PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate selection of a desired electronic mail. SOLUTION: This mail software module 5 has: a list collection part 6 collecting an attribute character string 28 from an electronic mail database 2 recording a plurality of attribute character strings 28 corresponding to a plurality of electronic mails; a sort method collection part 7 selecting rearrangement order by operation of an input device 9; and a sort part 8 outputting a sort list 26 wherein the attribute character strings 28 are arranged on the basis of the rearrangement order by use of a halfway character string included in an arbitrary position of the attribute character string 28 to a mail software body 4. The mail software body 4 displays the sort list 26 on a display device 10, and displays a body of a selection electronic mail corresponding to the selection attribute character string 28 selected by the operation of the input device 9 among the attribute character strings 28 displayed in the sort list 26, on the display device 10.
