PROGRAM WHICH PERFORMS FORMING METHOD OF GREY SCALE IMAGE, AND FORMING METHOD OF GREY SCALE IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program and forming method of grey scale image from which a proof with precise approximation to that of a polychromatic printed matter can be shown with ease. SOLUTION: The forming method of grey scale image is to derive a proof corresponding to printed matter with n-color impression. A color density is derived from an ultimate color density Dn, and the color formation is determined by the color density Dn. The color density Dn is derived from the process of calculating a color density of the i-th layer of the printed matter, when an overtone ink layer is printed on a lower color ink layer printed to be put on the i-th of the printed matter, based on a certain formula containing modulus of ink transferring.
