PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for detecting a decrease in the inner volume of a nozzle for accurate dispensation. SOLUTION: Pressure change means 21, 22, 72 change pressure in a dispensing nozzle 11 and at least either sucks liquid to the dispensing nozzle 11 or delivers the liquid from the dispensing nozzle 11. A plurality of kinds of liquid including a sample 52 are prepared and at least either the suction or delivery of each liquid is made at a plurality of times. A pressure treatment section 40 outputs an alert signal when the difference between initial pressure detected by a pressure sensor 32 when at least either the suction or the delivery of at least one selected liquid selected is made from the liquids being selected in advance for the first time, and pressure detected by the pressure sensor 32 when at least either the suction or the delivery of the selected liquid is made after the initial pressure is detected is larger than a specific threshold.
