The frame hinge assembly procedure includes a stage in which the spring (3) is compressed and retained inside a cavity (15) of a first component (5) before it is joined to a second component by a pivot. During this stage the first component is forced open by elastic deformation and the pusher is inserted until it is held in place by inner projections or a shoulder (19). The first component (5) has chamfered edges (18) round its opening to facilitate insertion of the pusher.
