<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intubator stable after inserted, harmless to an eyeball and cuttable with scissors. <P>SOLUTION: This lacrimal duct intubator has a collar 45, 47 attached to one end of a tube 44 formed of a soft material, and the other end is swollen and heavy. The lacrimal duct intubator is used for lacrimal caruncle shift in lacrimal duct reconstructive surgery for an intractable case. Since the intubator is formed of the soft material such as a plastic tube, the length is adjusted by cutting it with the scissors, or the collar part can be cut off and removed being pulled from a nasal cavity under an endoscope. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
