PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus and an ink circulating method, which enable a reduction in cost and device size by simplifying a structure of an ink circulating device, and which enable ink to be stably supplied to an ejection part. SOLUTION: This inkjet recording apparatus comprises an ink tank for storing the ink wherein colored particles are dispersed in a solvent, an ejection head for ejecting the ink according to an input signal, a pump for supplying the ejection head with the ink in the ink tank, an ink supply system which leads from the ink tank to the ejection head via the pump so as to supply the ejection head with the ink in the ink tank, and an ink recovery system which leads from the ejection head to the ink tank so as to recover the ink into the ink tank from the ejection head.
