PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent carrying out of illegal behavior of making a game machine repeatedly pay out game mediums many times, and to reliably control the advance of a game based on the detection signal of a game medium which is shot into a game area and wins a prize even at starting of power supply to the game machine. SOLUTION: In the game machine, a main board 31 for controlling the advance of the game stores the number of prize balls to be paid out with prize-winning, and transmits a paying-out number signal for designating the number of prize balls to a paying-out control board 37. When starting paying out of the prize balls, a BUSY signal from the paying-out control board 37 is started, and a CPU 56 of the main board 31 subtracts the number of prize balls designated by the paying-out number signal from the stored number of prize balls with the starting. The game machine is provided with: the main board 31 for controlling the advance of the game; the paying-out control board 37 for paying out the prize balls; and a ball shooting device for shooting a ball into the game area.
