PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved communication system and method. SOLUTION: The communication system is provided with a first client communication device, a second client communication device, a communication address service provider, and a vendor. The communication address service provider is configured so as to provide an indexed array of a caller identification number relating to the first client communication device and a caller identification number relating to at least one return communication address of the second communication device. The vendor is configured so as to transmit a message to the at least one return communication address of the second client communication device in response to a call to the vendor that is started by the first client communication device. Thus, the vendor uses a caller identification number service during a call as a catalyst for transmitting another target message to a client parallel with the call, thereby performing a communication of quick reaction between the vendor and the client with a plurality of media.
