LOGICAL CALCULATION CIRCUIT, LOGICAL CALCULATION DEVICE, AND LOGICAL CALCULATION METHOD

<p>There is provided a logical calculation circuit capable of data storage and highly-reliable and high-speed data logical calculation by using a non-volatile storage element. The residual polarization state of a ferroelectric capacitor Cs' is actively modified so that the residual polarization state s' of the ferroelectric capacitor Cs' for load is opposite to the residual polarization state s of the ferroelectric capacitor Cs for storage. When the reference potential c = 0 in the calculation operation, the ferroelectric capacitor Cs does not cause polarization inversion even if second calculation data x = 1 is added to the ferroelectric capacitor Cs of the residual polarization state s (first calculation data) = 0. The ferroelectric capacitor Cs does not cause polarization inversion even for other than the combinations s = 0 and x = 1. Moreover, there is a large difference between a potential VA = VA (0) indicated by a coupling node when x = 1 is applied to the ferroelectric capacitor Cs of s = 0 and a potential VA = VA (1) indicated by a coupling node when x = 1 is applied to the ferroelectric capacitor Cs of s = 1.</p>
