PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic diaper, which makes judgment simply and is suppressed in costs and electric consumption, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The electronic diaper comprises a diaper body 1, a sensor 2, and a controller. The diaper body 1 consists of an upper dry layer 10, a bottom dry layer 11, and a moisture absorbent layer 12 placed between the upper and bottom dry layers 10 and 11. The sensor 2 is placed on the upper dry layer 10 and/or the bottom dry layer 11 and has an underlying film 20. Two conductive materials 201 and 202 are placed on the upper surface 200 of the underlying film 20 beforehand. The sensor 2 with two or three conductive wires is attached firmly to the upper dry layer 10 or the bottom dry layer 11 using an adhesive agent, or the like. An end of the sensor 2 touches a top or bottom end of the diaper and is connected to the controller.
