There is provided a detection device including: a change point detection section for receiving an output signal from an electronic device and detecting a change point; a timing comparison section for detecting a signal level of the output signal before or after the change point in the output signal; and a correction section for correcting the timing of the change point detected by the change point detection section according to the signal level of the output signal detected by the timing comparison section.
