PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending boom type vehicle for high lift work having a work base in a tip part of a boom to reduce twist moment acting on a lower boom. SOLUTION: This bending boom type vehicle for high lift work has the lower boom 11 attached to a turn base so as to rise and fall freely, an upper boom 14 attached to a tip part of the lower boom 11 so as to bend and move freely, a vertical post member 21 attached to a tip part of the upper boom 14 so as to swing freely in the vertical direction and held vertically irrespective of rising and falling movement of the lower boom 11 and bending movement of the upper boom 14, and the work base 20 attached to the vertical post member 22 so as to turn freely in the horizontal direction. The upper boom 14 is positioned and stored on a side of the lower boom 11 when viewed in a plane. The vertical post member 21 has an L-shaped structure so that the center of turn of the work base is positioned at a position offset onto a side of the lower boom 11 for a central axial line CL2 of the upper boom 14.
