PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system capable of surely detecting the occurrence of obstruction and quickly informing the occurrence to a user, an operator, and the like for smoothly finding an obstruction cause and performing recovery work. SOLUTION: This storage system includes a plurality of channel control parts each having a circuit board, on which a file access processing part receiving a data input/output request by a file unit transmitted from an information processing device and an I/O processor outputting an I/O request matching the data input/output request to the storage device are formed, a disk control part executing data input/output to the storage device in compliance with the I/O request transmitted from the I/O processor, and a computer connected to the channel control part and the disk control part communicatively.
