PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nitrided parts used under severe sliding condition, in detail, in which a characteristic compound layer and diffusion layer are formed with nitriding to a ferrous material, and to provide a cooling medium compressor and a freezing air-conditioner using the parts. SOLUTION: Regarding the sliding parts such as a vane used under severe sliding condition of a rotary compressor or the like used with HFC cooling medium, in the nitriding, the treated layer is constituted of the compound layer at the surface side and the diffusion layer in the inside thereof, and the durability is improved by applying the nitriding for having > 0 and≤2μm compound layer thickness and≥1.0 wt% carbon content contained in the compound layer.
