PURPOSE: A method for collecting alarm in a base station system is provided to collect alarm while segmented data are transmitted, thereby executing remote downloading in collecting and processing software alarm of power amplifiers. CONSTITUTION: An alarm collection application block receives a firmware image download message from the second loader(400). The alarm collection application block confirms whether the power amplifying units are normal(410). If not, the alarm collection application block sends an error message to the second loader(411). If so, the alarm collection application block transmits a confirmation response message including manufacturer ID information of the power amplifying units to the second loader(420). The alarm collection application block transmits a firmware downloading request message to the power amplifying units(430). The alarm collection application block confirms an error in a response(440). If the power amplifying units transmit no response or an error is reported, the alarm collection application block transmits an error message to the second loader(441). The alarm collection application block judges whether frequency of retransmission is the maximum transmission frequency(443). The alarm collection application block collects alarm of the power amplifying units(450). The alarm collection application block confirms whether the remote downloading mode is converted into another mode(460). If not, an error is generated(461). A response message including response success information is transmitted to the second loader(470). A timer for collecting alarm is stopped(480). |
