<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half-engagement preventing clip for connectors capable of assuring sufficient connection confirming function even with a shorter connection confirming section. <P>SOLUTION: A half-engagement preventing clip 57 for connectors is integrally formed with a clip body 59 on one side in axial direction and a connection confirming section 61 on the other side in the axial section. The clip body 59 is so configured as to house from a tubular holding part 21 of a connector housing 3 to an annular confirming projection 55 of a pipe body 41, while the connection confirming section 61 is so configured as to house by inserting the other side in the axial direction rather than the annular confirming projection 55 of the pipe body 41. The length in the axial direction of the connection confirming section 61 is so set as to be shorter than the interval in the axial direction between an annular engagement projection 43 of the pipe body 41 and the annular confirming projection 55 while equal to or longer than the distance in the axial direction between the insert side end of the pipe body 41 and the other side end in the axial direction of an O-ring 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
