PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily bent flexible substrate, the manufacturing method of such flexible substrate, an electro-optical device employing such flexible substrate and electronic equipment including the electro-optical device employing such flexible substrate. SOLUTION: In the flexible substrate having a substrate and a wiring pattern provided on the substrate, and the manufacturing method or the like of such flexible substrate, at least one piece of a notched part is provided at a position, situated at the end of the flexible substrate and corresponding to a bending position.
