PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch with excellent durability used for an operation part of an electronic device. SOLUTION: On a spring body 11 made of an elastic material pushing a movable contact body 4 on a contact base board 1 to make a contact part in and out of contact, a thickened part 12A with a wall thickness of 0.08 to 0.14 times that of a dome part 11B is formed on the whole periphery of a joining part 11E where an outer peripheral surface of a circular cylinder-shaped pressing part 11A is joined to a linear part of the side surface of the dome part 11B. By the above, since stress intensively generated at the part can be reduced and an operational force at pushing operation can be strengthened, durability of the elastic body 11 can be improved by reducing hardness of a rubber material thereof. Cracking hardly occurs on the elastic body 11, and a push switch stably operating during the number of operation times exceeding 100,000 times is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
