PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handcart to be stably loaded with a shopping basket in a seat part thereof. SOLUTION: This handcart is provided with an article housing part opened in an upper part thereof and the seat part also working as a cover for opening/closing the upper part opening of the article housing part, and this handcart is moved forward and backward by an operation handle provided in rear of the article housing part. This handcart is also provided with a shopping basket lock member, which is provided with a lock part for locking the shopping basket in a progressing side wall surface thereof so that the shopping basket is not fallen from the seat part to the front part of the handcart, freely to appear and disappear from the top surface of the seat part.
