<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cork stopper formed of a cork bark, which prevents a taste of a cork material from transferring to a content liquid by coating an external surface with a synthetic resin material. <P>SOLUTION: A method of surface treatment of the cork stopper (1) formed of a cork into a desired shape includes a step of applying a coating film (2) made of a synthetic resin on an end surface in contact with a liquid, and lower and upper peripheral side faces connecting with it of the cork stopper (1). Thus, a thin film of the synthetic resin material and a cork material portion are formed on the peripheral side face of the stopper (1) with water, heat and alcohol resistances to prevent the taste from transferring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
