PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted display (HMD) whose specified operation such as sound output and picture output is performed in a hands-free state as intended by a user and which hardly causes malfunction. SOLUTION: The head-mounted display having the picture output part to output a picture and mounted on the head has an instruction input means to detect user's specified action and accept user's instructions, and a control means to make the head-mounted display perform the specified operation according to the instruction inputted by the instruction input means.
