PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store medical records printed and recorded with a printer by reducing the storage space of the records. SOLUTION: A binding device 4 is provided near one side portion of a first cover part 2 being a base sheet of the JIS A4 format. The binding device 4 includes a fitting plate 7 fixed to the cover part 2, a pair of base members 8, 9 fixed upright at an interval on the fitting plate 7, and operation members 11, 12 having a second connecting part 33 detachably connected to the first connecting parts 31, 32 of the base members 8, 9 with a spring force. The operation members 11, 12 are connected to the fitting plate 7 or to the base members 8, 9 via spring members 18, 19, preventing the operation members 11, 12 from being lost. Use of no permanent magnet piece in the device exerts no adverse influence on a human body nor medical electronic equipment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
