PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labelling apparatus, which reduces time to set a label tape on the apparatus to improve the efficiency of labelling work, and simplifies the work of setting the label tape on the apparatus to enable even an inexperienced worker to set the label tape on the apparatus. SOLUTION: The labelling apparatus comprises a label tape transfer mechanism, which consecutively transfers the label tape 3 formed by temporarily sticking labels on the surface of a belt-shaped pasteboard 4, and a peeling section 22, which is made to come in contact with the back surface of the middle part of the pasteboard 4 and fold back the label tape 3 to peel the labels off from the pasteboard 4. The apparatus is further provided with a peeling section moving mechanism, which reciprocates the peeling section 22 in a direction of folding back the label tape 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
