PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording/reproducing device, which can hold a mechanical chassis at a high position. SOLUTION: In the disk recording/reproducing device, which includes the mechanical chassis 3 on which a disk reproducing mechanism is mounted, the main chassis 51, and a damper 4 for attenuating the vibration propagated to the disk reproducing mechanism, in which the damper 4 is provided between the mechanical chassis 3 and the main chassis 51, and is fixed to the main chassis 51 with a screw, the damper 4 includes a recessed part 42 for accommodating a head part 62 of the screw 61. The main chassis 51 includes a seat 53 for elevating the support position of the mechanical chassis 3, on a part to which the damper 4 is fixed.
