PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a stator of a generator motor, by which the tooth cores and core-back cores can be connected easily to one another, after a stator body is constituted of them. SOLUTION: When manufacturing the stator body having the core-back cores 17 that are arranged between the adjacent tooth cores 16, 16 arranged at prescribed intervals on a reference circumference D0 and connect the tooth cores 16, the tooth cores 16 are arranged on a prescribed large-diameter circumference D1 larger than the reference circumference D0; conductive wires constituting windings 38 are wound around the tooth cores 16; the core-back cores 17 are inserted between the tooth cores 16 from the outside of the radial direction of the stator body; and after that, the tooth cores 16 and the core-back cores 17 are moved to the internal diametral side of the stator body so that the tooth cores 16 are arranged on the reference circumference D0.
