PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make various fold forms easily selectable and reduce the burden on a user. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus outputs image data of a manuscript on a paper folded in a specified form.It comprises an indication operating unit 6 for indicating the fold form of the paper and also for executing a selecting operation by a user, an image data reader 7 for reading the image data of the manuscript, and an image data processor 10 for turning the image data read by the reader 7, if needed, in accordance with the selected fold form by the indication operating unit 6.
