PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a plurality of exclusively used batteries of different length sizes varying in sizes selectively usable according to purposes in photographing an animation image where the large capacity of the battery is needed and in photographing a still image where a small capacity suffices. SOLUTION: The battery housing chamber 10 adapted to house the batteries of the different length sizes is internally provided with an energizing device 20 which energizes the tail end of the battery 50 of the short length to a longitudinal direction of the battery and is freely retractable sideways for the battery of the long length. The device is annexed with a detector 30 for detecting the presence or absence of the retraction of the energizing device 20.
