METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PARTICLE FOR ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DISPLAY, AND ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing particles for an electrostatic image display by which spheric particles with desired functions or colors added thereto for an electrostatic image display can be easily obtained, and to provide an electrostatic image display using the obtained particles. SOLUTION: The particles are to be used for an electrostatic image display having particles sealed between substrates disposed opposite to each other at least one of which is transparent and displaying an image by moving the particles by Coulomb force. The method for manufacturing the particles includes at least a process of causing one or more kinds of child particles to collide with and fix on the surface of mother particles as the nuclei of the particles in a gas flow.
