PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot to develop natural communication by reproducing body performance such as gestures as well as voice of a communication mate. SOLUTION: A communication system 10 includes the communication robots 12, 14. When a user A presents (inputs) voice and body performance followed by the voice, to the robot 12, the robot 12 prepares a message including the voice and body performance. The robot 12 records the message if the message is for a user B, and transmits the message to the robot 14 if the message is for a user C. The robot 12 (14) presents the recorded message to the user at the destination, that is, reproduces the voice and body performance included in the message.
