PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, accurate positioning method which does not reduce workability and productivity. SOLUTION: A bracket 10 is arranged on a positioning base 20 so that a first reference hole 13 is inserted into a reference pin 21. Upon pressing a reference plane 14 of the bracket 10 with a plane section 32 of a first positioning block 31, the bracket 10 is positioned in a state that the first reference hole 13 is brought into contact with the reference pin 21. A pressed force is performed on a contact portion between the reference plane 14 of the bracket 10 and the plane section 32 of the block 31, and the direction of pressed force is stable because of pressed force with a surface. Positioning errors caused by clearance between the first reference hole 13 and the reference pin 21 are resolved since the bracket 10 is positioned in a state usually deviated to a constant direction of the first reference hole 13 against the reference pin 21, and its positioning accuracy is improved.
