PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable guide for a transmission device capable of accomplishing the assembling works of a guide body with a reinforcing plate and the mounting works of the transmission device on a skeleton simply and certainly and securing the moving guide function and the guide lifetime for a long period of time in compliance with the chain tension by suppressing an eccentric wear when the chain is running. SOLUTION: The movable guide 100 for the transmission device includes the guide body 110 made of synthetic resin furnished with a shoe 111 for sliding the chain C running and the reinforcing plate 120 fitted in a slit 112a formed in the guide body 110, and the swinging base end of the guide body 110 and the swinging base end of the reinforcing plate 120 are installed on the skeleton of the transmission device by putting them in a penetrative co-fastening by a fitting means B. A boss 112b penetrating a skeleton mounting hole 113 for mounting on the skeleton is formed on the side with the swinging base end of the guide body 110 and fitted in an engaging circular hole 121 bored in the reinforcing plate 120 on the side of its swinging base end.
