PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program in which, by reading an original manuscript once by a scanner device, the read manuscript can be used by an application program without the need of the original manuscript from the next time. SOLUTION: Scanner software 11 stores image data acquired from a scanner device 2 into a file memory 12. Then, in response to user's instruction, the software acquires the image data by reading with the scanner device 2 or accessing the file memory 12, and transfer the data to an application program 13. Accordingly, after reading the image data once by the scanner device 2, the data does not need to be read again, and it is possible to download the image data stored in the file memory 12 into the application program.
