摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a heat developable material by which the top of a support is coated with an undercoat layer having high adhesion to the support and having no adverse effect on an adjacent layer (a photosensitive layer, an AI layer or a BC layer) in spite of excellence in adhesion to the adjacent layer without occurrence of streaks. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a heat developable material, a polyester support with no undercoat layer is subjected to at least one treatment selected from corona discharge treatment, plasma treatment, electron beam irradiation treatment and X-ray irradiation treatment, the top of the support is coated with an undercoat layer, and a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide particles, an organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder is disposed. A compound having an oxetane ring is incorporated into a coating liquid for an undercoat layer, coating with the undercoat layer is carried out, and the undercoat layer is heat-treated at 120-230°C after drying.
